Education

APICS is committed to providing operations management professionals the best available training and professional development opportunities.  The Toledo Chapter is committed to this, offering a wide range of educational programs, classes and certification preparation opportunities.

CPIM Certification: The APICS CPIM program educates manufacturing professionals on essential terminology, concepts, and strategies related to demand management, procurement and supplier planning, material requirements planning, capacity requirements planning, sales and operations planning, master scheduling, performance measurements, supplier relationships, quality control, and continuous improvement.

CSCP Certification: The APICS CSCP program takes a broad view of operations, extending beyond internal operations to encompass the entire supply chain—from supplier, through the company, to the end consumer. The program provides professionals with the knowledge necessary to understand and manage the integration and coordination of end-to-end supply chain activities to maximize a company’s value chain.

Dinner Meetings: The Toledo Chapter routinely hosts dinner meetings with professional development topics.  The meetings are very educational, while offering a great way to network with other professionals in the Toledo area.
