CLTD – Program Information

CLTD – Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution

This certification was announced by APICS in July 2016.

The new APICS CLTD designation, which is earned by passing one comprehensive exam, focuses on eight modules covering critical areas in logistics, transportation, and distribution:

  • Logistics and Supply Chain Overview
  • Capacity Planning and Demand Management
  • Order Management
  • Inventory and Warehouse Management
  • Transportation Management
  • Global Logistics Considerations
  • Logistics Network Design
  • Reverse Logistics and Sustainability

The APICS CTLD designation will equip individuals with the essential knowledge they need to reduce costs, increase customer satisfaction, and achieve recognition as a logistics expert.

APICS Toledo will offer its first instructor led CLTD class starting in January 2018.

The class will be led by Dani Long, CPIM, CLTD, Dani is an APICS IDP registered instructor and achieved CLTD certification in December 2016.
