John Blevins, CPIM, CSCP, MOD
John grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio and studied Supply Chain Management and Management Information Systems at Bowling Green State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2005. He has also received his Masters in Organizational Development from BGSU in August of 2010 and is currently working towards his CPA qualifying certificate from Owens Community College in preparation to obtain either a CPA or CMA professional designation.
John began his career at Owens Corning in their Supply Chain Development Program where he was provided with multiple learning opportunities in a brief three years. He’s currently working in their Logistics and Customer Operations department leading the International Team with sourcing, operational, and trade compliance responsibilities for the US and Canada. John has spent time in Cincinnati, Ohio and Fairburn, Georgia south of Atlanta.
John has been a member of APICS since 2005 when he joined the BGSU student chapter and was their Treasurer and then President before graduating in December. He first was a Toledo Board Member in 2007 through the creation of the VP, Student Liaison board position and then joined again in 2010 as the VP, Finance after relocating back to Ohio from Georgia.
John achieved his CPIM certification in December 2006 and CSCP certification in January 2011.
