Upcoming CPIM Classes – Basics of Supply Chain Management

We are pleased to announce that in January 2016 a new series of CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) classes will begin.

The first module Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSCM) will be offered Tuesday evenings at the University of Toledo from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Classes start January 26th ending March 29th, 2016. Click here for registration information.

2014 – 2015 Chapter Benchmarking and Reporting Award Announcement

We are delighted to announce that the chapter has been evaluated as meeting the requirements for the Gold Award for 2014 – 2015.

This means the chapter maintains the Platinum Chapter Status.

It is the 9th successive year we have received the Gold award and our 5th successive year of being a Platinum chapter.

To qualify to submit for CBAR we had to meet the 16 performance criteria laid down in the APICS Channel Partner Agreement.

CBAR is divided into 10 sections with a total of 66 questions, points are scored for each question and to receive the gold award a chapter must score at least 345 points, we scored 397.

Thanks to all our members for supporting the chapter during the year, we plan to get our 10th Gold next year.

Certification Classes Coming Soon

We are pleased to announce that in August we will be resuming our CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) classes and we are also offering a CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) class starting in September.

We are offering the Detailed Scheduling and Planning (DSP) module of CPIM starting on Thursday August 20th and details about the class and the registration form are available here

Chapter Annual Meeting and Results of 2015 – 2016 Board Elections

The chapter annual meeting was held on Monday June 8th at Gradkowski’s, Toledo.

Chapter President Bruce Brechin presented his report covering activities for the year and VP Finance Don Gardner reported on the chapter’s financial position. Extracts of their reports will be published in the Summer Newsletter in late July.

Attendees then voted to accept the revised chapter bylaws available here

The meeting concluded with elections for the 2015 – 2016 Board of Directors.
