Chapter Chair – Lindsay Vollmar, CPIM

A Toledo native, Lindsay is a 2012 graduate of the University of Toledo having earned her Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management with minors in International Business and Environmental Science. After graduating fron UT Lindsay joined Owens Corning, a Fortune 500 company and market leader in the composites and building materials industries headquartered in downtown Toledo. While at OC, she held positions in forecasting, pricing, and material planning/sourcing.

In June 2016 Lindsay left the Toledo area, moving to California where she is a Material Planner for SpaceX.

In terms of career direction, Lindsay is interested in the area of supply chain sustainability, combining her passion for the environment and her love of supply chain. In December 2014, her collaborative work with scientists from the University of Minnesota and the University of Toledo was published in the Journal of Environmental Economics and Policy.

Lindsay has been a member of APICS since October 2011. She was elected President of the UT APICS Chapter in December 2011, serving as President for a year and leading the chapter to achieve a Chapter Management Program award for the first time in over ten years. She was first elected to the Toledo Board of Directors in June 2013 as VP Administration, subsequently serving one year as Executive Vice President before becoming President in June 2015.

Lindsay achieved her CPIM certification in December 2013 and is currently pursuing Six Sigma green belt certification.
